A special day at Millward

Japara Millward’s resident artist, Neville, was the subject of a very special exhibition at the aged care home recently.

In front of a packed house at Millward Café, Neville shared his artistic journey with fellow residents, which incredibly only began when he entered into care a few years ago.

Neville’s collection now includes more than 400 pieces painted across various mediums including oil and water colours. Over the course of a few hours, Neville shared and disussed around 30 of these pieces while those in attendance enjoyed a wonderful wine, cheese and fruit platter afternoon tea put on by the home’s catering team,

This thought-provoking afternoon was enjoyed by staff and residents alike, and will be the first of a range of different artistic-themed gatherings.
