A star is born

A familiar face hit the pages of The Border Mail recently as Albury & District resident, Phyllis, celebrated her 104th birthday!

Phyllis’ close friend Frances came to the home to celebrate over lunch and cake with her and our other residents, before interviewers from the paper took her aside to learn more about her story, which can be read below.

Phyllis is a big fan of ‘clean living’, with her favourite things being coffee, chocolate and wine! Perhaps that’s the secret.

From all of us at Japara, we wish you a very happy birthday, Phyllis! We’re so happy that you’re a part of our family.
