A Thursday tradition at The Homestead

Every Thursday, our residents and staff from The Homestead (Walkley Heights, SA) venture down to the local bakery and coffee shop (which is also called Homestead)!

The residents often enjoy pies, pasties, toasted sandwiches, donuts, vanilla slices, coffee, tea or a South Australian favourite – Farmers Union Iced Coffee.

This tradition is a favourite amongst our residents at the aged care home, with these types of outings helping them remain connected to the local community.
