A trip to Table Top
For one of their regular scenic bus trips, residents from our Albury & District aged care home drove out to Rosemont Farm in Table Top, a 700-acre establishment full of Merino sheep and Angus cattle.
The residents got up close and personal with Arnold, one of the 12 hand-reared orphan lambs on the farm, before driving around the paddocks and seeing the 34 new calves who were all under two weeks old. They then went to visit the alpacas that guard the 400 ewes on the farm, eventually making their way to see a bull statue that has been designed to resemble Governor, a favourite of the owner, Leon.
