Bayview Aged Care Home Opens With 30 New Beds

Bayview Aged Care Bayview in Carrum Down, 1295 Frankston-Dandenong Road has unveiled additional and much needed accommodation in the local area as part of the Stage 1 release, culminating in an additional 30 beds for the local area.

The addition of 30 beds will result in much needed residential care for ageing  residents, where demand for services in this area is on the incline. This is due to our ageing population”, explains Mr. Andrew Sudholz, Chief Executive Officer of Japara Healthcare.

The multi million dollar development is a significant investment in the local community and has provided more than 130 jobs over the past 12 months from planning, construction, building and design. The opening of Stage 1 will also provide additional jobs in nursing, carers, chefs, doctors, cleaners and laundry personnel.”

Bayview residential Aged Care is part of the Japara Healthcare Group, which operates 39 aged care facilities across Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia.
