Dementia Australia’s ‘A Better Visit’ iPad App

For families visiting a loved one living with dementia, it can be difficult to engage and interact, especially if the family member no longer recognises them. To help create better visiting experiences for all, Dementia Australia has created an iPad app.

It’s called ‘A Better Visit’ and features a range of two-player games designed to enhance communication and facilitate positive social interactions between people with dementia and their visitors.

You can read more about the app on Dementia Australia’s website: www.dementia.org.au/information/resources/technology/abettervisit

The app is free to download from the Apple App Store.
