Easter at George Vowell

The residents at our George Vowell aged care home (Mt Eliza, VIC) received the full Easter experience this year, complete with a visit from the Easter bunny, and for members of our memory support area, a handmade beanie.

The beanies are a tradition that was started by a former resident who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. As she had already started this year’s beanies, our residents were very happy to receive a surprise visit from her daughters, who had finished them and took the time to hand deliver them to each person. It definitely gave Easter an extra special meaning for some of our residents this year.
