Extraordinary high standards of care and attention at Noosa

Our Noosa care home received a letter from Fay, the daughter of a resident who sadly, recently passed away. Fay had so many kind things to say about the home, we wanted to share them with you.

Dear Heather and Kylie,

On behalf of our family I just wanted to convey our sincere thanks for everything that you and your team did to make my mother’s last year of her life as comfortable and enjoyable as you possibly could.

From taking her in at such short notice on her move from Bundaberg to caring for her so attentively and lovingly in her difficult last few weeks.

I miss her smile terribly and I know how much your staff made her smile and how much pleasure she got from your wonderful team of carers, all of whom were outstanding.

We had so many misconceptions of what a nursing home would be like, but I have to say that Noosa Aged Care is an outstanding facility offering extraordinary high standards of care and attention. You created an environment that was a pleasure to visit and even after a few difficult months of adjustment, I believe my Mum really began to consider it her home. She made good friends amongst many of the staff and residents.

Nothing was ever too much for your staff and one of the many sad things about my Mum’s passing is that we won’t be seeing so many kind and happy people that we got to know over the last year.

Keep up the good work and I hope you have the recognition you deserve within the Japara Group.

With grateful thanks and appreciation for everything you did to make my Mum happy and smile, my sister Carolyn, my husband David and I will always be truly grateful.

With best wishes and regards,

Fay
