Giving back

Recently, after hearing of a shortage of supplies at their local RSPCA shelter, residents and staff from our Mitcham home (Kingswood, SA), visited the Lonsdale shelter to donate toys, blankets and food for the animals.

The shelter was thrilled to receive the generous donations, and invited our residents to spend some time bonding with the abandoned dogs – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Our Mitcham home has recently been making a concerted effort reach out to vulnerable parts of the community, and our residents have loved having the chance to make a difference.
