High tea at Elouera

Last week, our Elouera aged care community (Torquay, VIC) hosted an afternoon high tea for residents of the neighbouring Lions Village.

The attendees from the Lions Village were sent a personal invitation the week before the event, and many made a point of calling to personally thank Elouera for the invite and to confirm their attendance.

On the day, a lovely afternoon tea was put on by our Elouera Hospitality and Lifestyle staff, which was followed by a tour of the home and the surrounding grounds. Attendees were impressed by the size of the bedrooms and the numerous open, light-filled spaces throughout the home. Many even commented that, when the time comes, they would love to move to Elouera.

The Lions Village residents also expressed a desire to become more involved with the entertainment and activities being run at the aged care home, and many requested to return for other functions in the near future.

Our Elouera residents were equally positive about the day, with many enjoying having visitors and getting the chance to reconnect with old friends.
