I Am Safety @ Japara

Recently, our WHS team held a national competition between our homes. The homes were tasked with submitting pictures and a creative video of their different health and safety practices, with the winners receiving a gift voucher and a special BBQ lunch put on by the safety team.

We received some fantastic entries, ranging from music videos, to yoga demonstrations, dance acts, foreign language films and much more.

The winner of ‘Best Picture’ was our Noosa home, who shared their celebrations with Noosa Flexi Learning Centre as they helped create the film. NFLC has an ongoing affiliation with our Noosa community, helping with the day-to-day operation of our in-house café.

With an equally outstanding performance, Riverside Views won our ‘People’s Choice’ award for their entry.

Noosa and Riverside Views weren’t the only winners; however, with the following homes also receiving recognition:

Best Dance Act: Henley Manor

Best Musical: St Judes

Best Foreign Language Film: Scottvale

Best Concept: Bonbeach

Best Props: Sandhill

Best Musical Number: South West Rocks

Best Short Film: Forest View

Best Lead Actress: Lakes Entrance

Best Score: Bayview

Well done to all involved!
