MasterChef at Sandhill

Three times a year, our Sandhill aged care home (South Launceston, TAS) hosts a special ‘MasterChef’ event, where our residents contribute to a menu that differs from the usual offering. The meals are also accompanied by wine from the home’s ‘Wine Club’, and the room is decorated in a special manner.

Last week’s MasterChef event saw our residents tuck into homemade spring rolls, crumbed fresh scallops, eye fillet steak with all the trimmings, rhubarb cake and lemon cheesecake.¬†As you can imagine, the residents loved the spread put on!
