For Angela, the challenge of working in a publicly listed company was a major motivating factor. She takes pride in ensuring that the processes that are in place at Japara Albury & District are at the highest level possible.

“I feel humbled and privileged to be chosen by a family to care for their loved one to ensure the older person goes through the aging process with respect and dignity.” She says.

Angela says that the home has a “Fun, friendly, warm environment with a positive culture while maintaining regulatory compliance, integrity and respect for our residents and relatives”.

This is something that is absolutely non-negotiable for Angela – ensuring all the proper procedures are in place to ensure the best care for the residents. So much so that her professional dream is to win a best practice award in aged care.  She has previously won the Margaret Black award at the Royal women’s hospital for excellence in midwifery.

Outside of her professional life, Angela thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and reading.
