James has worked in the aged care sector for 18 years and was originally drawn to the role due to the enjoyment he gained from listening to the life experiences and wisdom of the elder generation he has worked with on a daily basis. Kiverton Park provided the perfect fit. For James, his philosophy for success is simple. “Happy Residents, Happy families, Happy Staff, Happy me.”

A part of this philosophy is to ensure that he does everything he can to provide a home like environment at Japara Kiverton Park. James says that a stated goal of his is “Giving as much independence and joy to those that have done the hard yards.”

Outside of work, he enjoys classic rock, such as TISM, Lou Reed and David Bowe.  James is also a keen historian, and enjoys reading non-fiction history books. If he could go back in time to any event in time it would be the French Revolution and the rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte.

To contact James and the team at Japara Kiverton Park Aged Care Home, send us an email to enquiries@japara.com.au or give us a call on (03) 9569 1334.
