Residents brush up on their golfing skills at Anglesea

When residents and family members at Japara Anglesea requested a putting green at the home to practice their golfing skills, Maintenance Officer Derek sprang into action, creating a mini green in the garden. It was officially opened at their recent residents and family Christmas party, where Tom, who celebrated his 104th birthday in 2018, cut the ribbon with the help of Japara’s CEO Andrew Sudholz and comedian Glenn Robbins. Glenn’s mum is a resident at Japara Anglesea and Tom loves the characters Glenn plays on TV. It was a brilliant day, and residents are loving practising their golf skills on the green.
