South West Rocks Marks ANZAC Day with Care packages

Residents at Japara South West Rocks recently commemorated ANZAC Day in a number of special ways.

To pay respect to the men and women currently serving Australia overseas, residents made care packages. Filled with Aussie treats and a personal letter, the packages are a touching gesture and a sweet reminder of home.

They also spent time with students from the local South West Public School, who visited the home. Residents sat down with the children to make ANZAC Day posters and eat Easter eggs, which the students had brought.

On ANZAC Day itself, residents and staff attended the local march and service and laid a beautiful wreath that they had made.

Residents attend the local Anzac Day service.
