Special visitors at Noosa

Residents from our Noosa community (QLD) recently welcomed a petting zoo to the aged care home for a fun morning of hands-on interaction.

Goats, pigs, sheep, guinea pigs and chickens paraded around the pen, with residents not only able to interact with the animals, but feed and hold them.

Despite the drizzle, the morning was a great success, with residents and staff enjoying the sights and smells of farm life. Residents who have come from rural backgrounds shared stories of their lives on the farm, reminiscing about the work they did and how the animals brought them so much joy.
