World Chocolate Day at Japara

For Japara’s catering teams, World Chocolate Day on July 7 was the perfect opportunity to get creative and treat residents to a special dining experience. Residents all across Japara homes enjoyed afternoon teas of elaborate chocolate cakes, fudgy cupcakes, rich mousse, chocolate-dipped strawberries and truffles.

Japara’s General Manager of Hospitality Ian Burman said that celebrating special occasions were an important part of dining and lifestyle at Japara.

“At Japara, great food is so important to our residents, and our chefs are privileged to be a part of providing meals that are not only nutritious but full of flavour,” he said.

“That being said, it’s the special occasions where our catering teams love to express themselves in the creation of fantastic themed events, pastries and cakes. Whether it’s Valentine ’s Day, World Chocolate Day, a residents birthday or anniversary, our teams love to impress.”

The catering team at Japara Viewhills Manor – Huy Gouy, Ngoc Lai and Chef Jince Jose – made this incredible cake for World Chocolate Day.
Residents at Japara Balmoral Grove enjoyed delicious chocolate desserts.

Japara Rosanna Views celebrated World Chocolate Day with a themed afternoon tea.
